The fifth module of the CAF PRO license training program concluded in Algiers on Thursday, 22 October 2026. Participants completed the session after four days of instruction held in the Algerian capital. The completion of this specific module marks a significant milestone in the ongoing professional certification process for the coaches involved in the program.

Supervision and Participant Details

FIFA instructor Raoul Chipenda, CAF instructor Amer Chafik, and the head of the training department at the National Technical Directorate, Karim Kased, supervised the instruction during the sessions in Algiers. These officials managed the delivery of the curriculum and provided oversight throughout the fifth module of the program.

The presence of these instructors ensured that the technical standards required by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) were strictly maintained throughout the duration of the module. FIFA instructor Raoul Chipenda provided guidance on international best practices, while CAF instructor Amer Chafik focused on the regional application of these standards. Karim Kased, representing the National Technical Directorate, coordinated the administrative and logistical requirements necessary for the successful execution of the four-day curriculum. These supervisors monitored the progress of the attendees to ensure that each phase of the instruction met the rigorous demands of the PRO license certification.

A total of 24 trainee coaches participated in the fifth module. These individuals engaged in the technical coursework provided by the instructors to complete the current phase of their professional development. The group of 24 trainee coaches participated in intensive workshops, tactical analysis sessions, and practical assessments designed to elevate their coaching capabilities to the highest professional level. By working closely with FIFA instructor Raoul Chipenda, CAF instructor Amer Chafik, and Karim Kased, the coaches were able to refine their methodologies and exchange professional insights within the classroom environment established in Algiers.

The training module lasted for four days, during which the participants were immersed in a structured curriculum. Each day was dedicated to specific pillars of professional football management, ranging from match analysis to team leadership and strategic planning. The participants utilized these four days to address complex scenarios presented by the instruction team, ensuring a full understanding of the material required for the CAF PRO license. The collaborative nature of the instruction allowed for a thorough review of the technical aspects of the game, facilitated by the direct supervision of the designated experts.

Two additional modules are scheduled for the month of November. These upcoming sessions will continue the training program for the participants involved in the qualification process. Following the conclusion of the fifth module in Algiers, the 24 trainee coaches will prepare for the subsequent phases of the program. The National Technical Directorate, alongside the CAF instructors, will oversee the transition into these final stages to ensure that all requirements for the license are fulfilled. The schedule for November is intended to maintain the momentum gained during the sessions held in October, providing the coaches with the necessary continuity to complete their professional education. These future modules remain critical for the participants as they work toward the final certification, building upon the foundations established during the previous four-day instructional blocks.
