Said Nafisi, responsable au sein de Harakat Bina Al-Watani, a déclaré : « The movement has managed to deposit 600 electoral lists distributed across 61 provinces, pending final figures after the issuance of appeals and the announcement of results by the Election Authority. »
The Socialist Forces Front (FFS) has registered 165 electoral lists. Rachid Chaibi, Media Officer for the Socialist Forces Front, explained the strategy behind this figure: "The party limited its participation to electoral districts where it previously had elected officials, which exempted it from the procedures of collecting signature forms and allowed it to focus on areas where it has previous electoral representation." This approach concentrates the party’s resources in regions where it maintains an established political footprint.
Harakat Mujtama' as-Silm (MSP) has also disclosed its involvement in the upcoming local elections. The party has deposited lists in approximately one-third of the country's municipalities and 56 provincial people's assemblies. These filings represent the scope of their engagement across the national territory as the political formations finalize their preparations for the vote.
The National Independent Authority for Elections is currently reviewing candidate files and processing appeals and substitutions. This administrative phase involves a rigorous verification of the documents submitted by the various political organizations. The authority assesses the conformity of each dossier against the legal requirements governing the electoral process. Following the completion of these verifications and the handling of any pending appeals, the National Independent Authority for Elections will confirm the final list of candidates authorized to compete for seats in the municipal and provincial assemblies. Until this official validation occurs, the status of the deposits remains subject to the ongoing regulatory examination by the electoral body.
