The Ministry of National Defence reported that 'Ali' was found to be in possession of two 'Siminov' semi-automatic rifles and a quantity of ammunition at the time of his surrender, indicating the armed nature of his activities. The operation also yielded other unspecified items found with the individual, which are subject to further investigation. In separate operations conducted across the country during the same period, military units successfully apprehended seven individuals identified as elements supporting terrorist groups. Further operations by various military regions resulted in the seizure of a staggering 210,986 psychotropic pills, showing the scale of illicit drug trade being combated.
