Primary School Price Adjustments
For first-grade students, the price of 'My Two Books in Arabic Language and Islamic Education' will increase to 240 dinars, from its previous price of 220 dinars. 'My Two Books in Mathematics' for the same grade will now cost 220 dinars, up from 201 dinars. The 'Activity Book in Arabic Language and Islamic Education' for first graders will be sold for 160 dinars, an increase from 146 dinars. Additionally, the 'Activity Book in Mathematics' for first-grade students will be priced at 180 dinars, rising from 165 dinars.
For second-grade students, 'My Two Books in Arabic Language and Islamic Education' will see its price adjusted to 270 dinars, up from 247 dinars. 'My Two Books in Mathematics' for second graders will be available for 230 dinars, an increase from 211 dinars. The 'Activity Book in Arabic Language and Islamic Education' for this grade level will be priced at 200 dinars, compared to its former price of 183 dinars. The 'Activity Book in Mathematics' for second-grade students will also increase to 180 dinars, from 165 dinars.
A new History book for third-grade students will be sold for 130 dinars, marking an increase from its previous price of 119 dinars. The National Office for School Publications stated that new prices for the fourth-grade 'My New Book in Civic Education', which previously cost 90 dinars, and the fifth-grade 'My Book in Civic Education', formerly priced at 220 dinars, will be determined at a later date.
Curriculum Reforms and New English Book
A new English Language book is set to launch for second-year middle school students. This introduction forms part of ongoing reforms impacting the English language curriculum. Officials consider English a living and global language, necessitating these curriculum changes.
