The Ministry of Health issued a clarification on Thursday, May 14, regarding the employment of nursing assistants from private paramedical training schools in public health institutions, refuting social media claims. The Ministry stated that discussions on social media misinterpreted a partial response from السيد الوزير to a parliamentary question, omitting details of measures aimed at integrating these graduates.
It added that the social media claims "لا يعكس إطلاقًا التزام الوزارة بالعمل على إيجاد حلول عملية لفائدة هذه الفئة، سواء ضمن مؤسسات الصحة العمومية أو الخاصة."
Among the initiatives, the Ministry is launching a national census of private school graduates via a digital platform. The Ministry emphasized that these efforts "ترمي إلى تحقيق التوازن بين قدرات التكوين ومتطلبات القطاع الصحي، بما يضمن تحسين جودة الخدمات الصحية وتعزيز التكفل الأمثل بالمرضى، مع مراعاة الاحتياجات الحقيقية للمؤسسات الصحية عبر مختلف ولايات الوطن."
Addressing Misinformation
Social media circulation regarding the impossibility of employing nursing assistants from private paramedical training schools in public health institutions does not reflect the Ministry of Health's commitment to finding practical solutions for this category. The Ministry stated that it is working to integrate these graduates within both public and private health institutions. What was circulated on social media was based on only a portion of the Minister's answer to a written question from a Member of Parliament. The Ministry clarified that the social media reports omitted the remainder of the response, which included specific measures aimed at assisting these graduates.
Integration Measures Underway
The Ministry of Health has initiated a national census of graduates from private paramedical training schools, utilizing a dedicated digital platform for this purpose. The objective of this initiative is to establish a precise and full database. This database will allow the Ministry to evaluate the current situation of these graduates and to explore effective mechanisms for their gradual integration and employment. The plan is to align these opportunities with the actual needs and available positions within both public and private health sectors. This measure reflects the Ministry's commitment to facilitating the entry of qualified personnel into the healthcare workforce, ensuring that the supply of trained professionals meets the demand across the country's various health institutions.
Ministry's Commitment to Health Sector
The Ministry of Health is actively developing a national strategy intended to align the capacity of training institutions with the specific requirements of the health sector. This initiative aims to enhance the quality of healthcare services and optimize patient care across the country. Through this strategic approach, the Ministry seeks to ensure that the healthcare workforce meets the actual needs of public and private health institutions throughout the various regions. This commitment shows efforts to create a balanced system where professional training directly contributes to improving health outcomes and service delivery. The strategy also focuses on ensuring that the integration and employment of graduates from private paramedical schools are systematically managed, considering both the available positions and the evolving demands of the healthcare landscape. The Ministry emphasized that these measures are designed to strengthen the overall health system.
